We proudly serve as Central Oklahoma’s premier Hang Gliding School, located just off Interstate 44 nearby Geronimo and Walters, Oklahoma.
Wide Open Sky Hang Gliding will tailor a hang gliding lesson program to suit your needs. Students train at their own pace. You can train daily or spread your course over weeks or months. All equipment is included... glider, harness, helmet and wheels. Radios are introduced at different levels.

Throughout human history, man has gazed into the sky and marveled at the birds and their ability to fly through the air. It was only within the last 100 years that saw successful flights by man. From the first glider flights by the Wright Brothers, to our flight to space our century of flight has brought the flying experience to man in many a varied ways. But no flying machine has so captured our imagination as the hang glider... for it is the hang glider that truly captures the essence of bird-like flight. No motor, no noise, just you and your hang glider, gracefully flying through the air.
