Wide Open Sky Hang Gliding Lesson Fees:
- Introduction to Hang Gliding- $100.00
One day lesson consisting of a short ground school and a training hill session using “bungee” assisted foot launching.
- Tandem Instructional Flight- $95.00
Fly with a USHGA tandem instructor from a platform tow launch to between 1500 and 2000 ft. During this flight you will have the opportunity to actually control the flight of the glider! One month USHPA membership included.
- Experience the Thrill- $180.00
Two day lesson consisting of a short ground school, two training hill sessions using “bungee” assisted foot launching, and a one month USHPA membership. Show your skill and graduate to “scooter” towing!
- Beginner to Novice Course * - $1395.00.00
Complete this course to solo! Course includes ground school, study materials, handouts, tests, Beginning Hang Gliding Manual, twelve days on the local training hill, two tandem instructional flights and a radio assisted, solo flight from altitude. Novice rating and a one year membership to the USHPA is included. (You also receive a subscription to the “HangGliding/Paragliding” magazine !)

* Successful completion of prescribed tasks will determine each student’s progression rate. Fees collected for lessons completed in the six months prior to signing up for a full package, will apply towards the full package price. Training hill sessions are between 3-4 hours in length and require average physical condition.
